HGV Mechanic

Location: Feltham
Basic Salary: £49,697 + Overtime + Bonus
OTE: £70,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, alternating shifts

Week 1: 6:00am–2:30pm
Week 2: 2:00pm–10:30pm

The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership at their state-of-the-art Feltham depot.
You’ll be joining an established workshop team, carrying out a wide range of maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and major overhauls on commercial vehicles.

Your Role
As an HGV Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
Completing major repairs and overhauls
Following faults from initial diagnosis through to completion
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Working efficiently within a busy workshop environment

About You
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic with:

City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent
Previous HGV Mechanic experience within a fleet, dealership or similar workshop environment
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
A professional and safety-focused approach
C+E / Class 1 licence is advantageous but not essential
