Description

Welder Fabricator
£18PH – £20PH + Overtime
Monday – Friday

Key Responsibilities for the Welder Fabricator:

Check HGVs, metal parts, and equipment for damage, wear, or faults
Carry out welding repairs using MIG and stick welding
Fix cracks, breaks, rust damage, and structural issues on steel and aluminium
Make replacement parts when needed
Look after welding tools and equipment, using them safely and correctly
Follow all safety rules and good welding practices
Work closely with the workshop supervisor, mechanics, and transport managers

Qualifications & Skills needed from the Welder Fabricator:

At least 6 years’ experience in welding and repairs (ideally with HGVs, heavy equipment, or structural work)
Skilled in different types of welding
Good at finding faults and solving problems
Strong knowledge of metals, welding methods, and repair techniques
