Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30 (40 hours per week)
Full time, permanent

Earning Potential – Salary:
£16.81 per hour
Realistic OTE: £37,500 – £39,000 
Overtime paid at 1.5x – Saturdays paid at overtime rate

Overview
Join an award-winning commercial vehicle dealership in Swindon on the day shift. You’ll be carrying out quality, safe, and compliant maintenance on a range of commercial vehicles. Key Responsibilities

• Performing major and minor repairs to HGVs, trailers, and other commercial vehicles
• Regular inspection and general preventive maintenance – tyre rotations, oil changes, and servicing
• Maintaining workshop inventory and cleanliness – oil spills and dust kept in check
• Working with repair teams to diagnose and plan vehicle repairs
• Maintaining accurate records of all vehicles repaired or handled
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork – including warranty claims where needed

What You’ll Need

• Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (essential)
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician – ability to identify worn and faulty components in line with DVSA Standards
• Current, full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
• IRTEC accreditation (desirable but not essential)
