HGV Technician – Grangemouth

Hours: Alternating weekly – Monday to Friday
Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:30
Back Shift: 14:00 – 22:30 (with Saturday morning on this week)
Full time, permanent

Earning Potential – Salary:
Up to £20.37 per hour (dependent on experience and skill level)
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Realistic OTE: £50,000 per annum (including overtime)

Overview
We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join a main dealer in Grangemouth. You’ll be carrying out all levels of maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics in a busy workshop. Our client offers industry-leading training and genuine career progression. If you’re Level 3 qualified and ready for a stable role, this is the one.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance, repairs, and major overhauls on HGVs
Servicing and diagnostics – following the repair process from fault analysis to completion
Working efficiently within a busy workshop team
Maintaining accurate records and job cards

What You’ll Need

Level 3 qualified (NVQ / City & Guilds) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
HGV Technician experience – fleet or dealership environment (essential)
Full UK driving licence – C+E licence beneficial but not essential
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

What’s On Offer

Up to £20.37/hr + OTE £50k
