Position:               HGV Technician
Location:             Bolton
Salary:                  upto £51.5K DOE
Hours:                   M-F Days 7am-4.30pm
Benefits:             Company Van, Fuel card and all overtime paid at 1.5X

The Role as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter / HGV Engineer

We are a well-established independent commercial vehicle workshop based in Bolton and are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter / HGV Engineer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified technician seeking a varied role within a friendly, supportive business where quality workmanship and customer service are highly valued.
You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, servicing and repair of a wide range of commercial vehicles including HGVs, trailers and vans.
As a benefit you will receive a company van and fuel card, all overtime paid at 1.5 X and no weekend working

Key duties as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter / HGV Engineer

• Carrying out vehicle inspections on HGVs, Trailers and Vans
• Completing MOT preparation work and presenting vehicles for DVSA testing.
• Undertaking HGV repairs, service and maintenance  

What we’re looking for in the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter / HGV Engineer

• NVQ / City & Guilds qualifications in HGV’s
• Experience working on HGVs, Trailers and Vans
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with MOT preparation and vehicle inspections.
• The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
