Service Advisor (Temporary) – Bridgwater

Hours: Temporary position – start end of September
Full time, permanent

Earning Potential – Salary:
£19.15 per hour
Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate

Overview
We’re looking for a Service Advisor to join a world-renowned commercial vehicle manufacturer in Bridgwater on a temporary basis. You’ll be meeting and greeting customers, managing administrative tasks, planning and scheduling work, and keeping customers updated throughout the repair process. If you’re organised, customer-focused, and ready for a temporary role, this is the one.

Key Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting all customers on arrival in a professional and friendly manner
• Managing day-to-day administrative tasks confidently and efficiently
• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating work
• Creating and processing job cards – checking for existing work in progress
• Checking account details, available credit, and obtaining relevant authorisation
• Providing timely updates to customers
• Agreeing timescales for unscheduled work and following through to completion
• Using initiative and working comfortably as an individual

What You’ll Need

• Previous Service Advisor experience (preferred)
• Strong customer service skills – professional and friendly
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
• Confident using computer systems and booking software
• Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
• You’ll be a great fit if you’re customer-focused, organised, and available for a temporary role.
