Senior Breakdown controller – Access

Job Role: Senior Breakdown Controller
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shifts
Salary: £31,500-£33,000
My client, a large Tool, Plant, and Powered Access hire company operating nationwide, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Controller to join their team.
The Role of Senior Breakdown Controller Includes:

• Support the Technical and Breakdown team with their knowledge and help them effectively take breakdown calls.
• Ensure best practices are shared across the team
• Assist with day-to-day enquiries coming through the team breakdown related.
• Logging jobs
• Allocating Jobs and drivers to breakdowns

Ideal Candidate for Breakdown Controller:

• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the Plant, Powered Access, Tool, or Material Handling industries – MUST have knowledge/experience with Car Parts or automotive industry
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Technical knowledge: Be able to assist with hoist and van breakdowns.
• Ability to train and coach a team of people with technical knowledge gaps.

• Organisational Skills: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve service issues efficiently.
• Team Player: Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues in achieving common goals.
