Parts Assistant – Impact Handling Birmingham

Job Title: Parts Assistant
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Birmingham
Benefits: 25 days plus bank holidays increasing with service (up to 28 days)

About your new company:
My client is a leading nationwide provider of material handling equipment and heavy machinery service solutions across the UK and Ireland. As a core part of a major international corporate group, we specialize in the sales, hire, and lifetime maintenance support of world-leading heavy machinery and forklift brands.

About your new Parts Assistant role:
 

• Picking and moving parts within the parts operation
• Allocating parts to engineers
• Supporting engineers by ensuring the correct parts are available
• Assisting with the general day-to-day running of the parts function

What you’ll need to succeed:
 

• Previous parts experience within an automotive environment
• Kerridge experience is preferred
• A reliable and organised approach to your work
• A methodical approach to managing stock, alongside great communication and telephone skills.
