£17PH – £20PH + Overtime
Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities for the Welder Fabricator:

• Carrying out MIG/MAG welding and fabrication work.
• Fabricating, repairing and modifying steel components and structures.
• Working from engineering drawings, measurements and specifications.
• Undertaking repairs and modifications to plant and equipment.
• Cutting, grinding, drilling and preparing materials for fabrication.
• Inspecting completed work to ensure it meets required quality and safety standards.
• Identifying fabrication and repair requirements and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Working closely with engineers and workshop colleagues to complete jobs efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following company health & safety procedures at all times.
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.

Qualifications & Skills needed from the Welder Fabricator:

• At least 6 years’ experience in welding and repairs (ideally with heavy equipment, or structural work)
• Skilled in different types of welding
• Good at finding faults and solving problems
• Strong knowledge of metals, welding methods, and repair techniques
