Customer Hire & Sales Co-ordinator
Salary: £29,000
Monday–Friday 8am to 4pm

We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Customer Hire & Sales Co-ordinator to manage customer hires, off-hires, contracts, deliveries, and related administration while maximising sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise, manage, and off-hire contracts using our ERP system.
• Handle customer calls, queries, and requests through system.
• Liaise with depots and supply chain to coordinate equipment and deliveries.
• Confirm daily deliveries and obtain accurate ETAs.
• Quote from fleet and source competitive rehire equipment.
• Manage exchanges, breakdowns, delivery issues, and paperwork.
• Complete live hire reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Use Excel to check, reconcile, and report data.
• Resolve invoice queries, process credits, and manage damage reports.
• Collate KPI and other regular reporting.
• Identify add-on sales opportunities and maximise hire revenue.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in hire, sales, rental, logistics, or a similar coordination role.
• Excellent organisation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with ERP/hire systems such as Movex.
• Good Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
