Days: £32.71 per hour – realistic monthly OTE £5,700 – £5,900

Nights: £37.00 per hour – realistic monthly OTE £6,500 – £6,700

Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate on both shifts

Overview
We’re looking for an HGV Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle specialist in Avonmouth on a 4 on 4 off pattern – days OR nights, your choice. You’ll be carrying out inspections, diagnostics, air brake work, and powertrain repairs to DVSA standards. If you’re Level 3 qualified and ready for a strong hourly rate with a great work-life balance, this is the one.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out inspections in line with DVSA standards
• Diagnostics and fault finding
• Air brake repairs and servicing
• Powertrain work
• Completing job cards and service records accurately
• Working efficiently within a busy workshop team

What You’ll Need

• Level 3 qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI) in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (essential)
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician
• IRTEC accreditation (advantageous)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
