Parts Advisor – Newcastle upon Tyne

Salary: £32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday + 1 in 2 Saturday mornings
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Overview
We’re looking for a proactive Parts Advisor to join a large commercial vehicle dealership in Newcastle. This is a great opportunity for an organised Parts Advisor to play a key role in the depot’s parts department, ensuring efficient stock management and supporting the workshop team with the right parts at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

As a Parts Advisor, you will manage the efficient distribution of parts to service mechanics and technicians across all shifts.
Maintain stock levels in the stores, order specialist parts as required, and conduct regular inventory checks as part of your duties as a Parts Advisor.
Ensure all ordered parts are delivered correctly and match workshop requirements.
Provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally, and maintain accurate parts records using the dealership system.

What You’ll Need

Previous experience working as a Parts Advisor or in a vehicle parts environment.
Strong computer literacy and familiarity with parts management systems.
Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
A valid UK driving licence.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented depot.
