About the Company
A large, well-established tool, plant, and powered access hire business, operating on a nationwide basis, is seeking an experienced Hire Desk Controller to join their busy and professional team.
The Role
As Hire Desk Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Handling hire enquiries via telephone, email, and the online ordering system
• Checking equipment availability and ensuring machine statuses are accurately maintained on internal systems
• Coordinating with engineering and transport teams to ensure equipment is prepared and delivered to customer sites on time
• Acting as a key point of contact for depot enquiries, providing a friendly and professional service
• Communicating effectively with colleagues across the depot and wider business

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience within plant hire, powered access, tool hire, or material handling
• Confident IT skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hire environment and manage multiple enquiries
