An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Customer Hire Desk Admin to join a busy team in Preston. My client is a large Plant hire company with depots across the UK.
The Role:
- Handle on-hire and off-hire enquiries via telephone, email, and online ordering systems
- Resolve supplier issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to service
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure a smooth and effective hire process
- Maintain accurate hire records and update internal systems accordingly
- Ensure all hire documentation and processes are completed to a high standard
- Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a hire desk, plant hire, or equipment rental environment (desirable)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident managing enquiries across telephone, email, and internal systems
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively in a fast-paced office
- Proactive, team-oriented approach with strong attention to detail
