About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chiller & Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established and growing specialist in temperature control, cooling and refrigeration solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking for a long-term career with a technically strong business, working on a broad range of commercial and industrial refrigeration and chiller systems.
As a field-based engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and repair of a variety of refrigeration and cooling equipment across customer sites throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs on chillers and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Install, commission and decommission refrigeration and chiller equipment.
• Complete fault finding and system performance checks.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Complete service reports, job sheets and relevant documentation accurately.
• Provide professional technical support to customers on site.
• Work in accordance with company procedures, health & safety requirements and relevant industry legislation.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Participate in an on-call rota where required

We are looking for an experienced refrigeration or chiller engineer who is confident working independently in a field-based environment.
You will ideally have:

• Previous experience working with commercial or industrial refrigeration and/or chiller systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Relevant refrigeration/HVAC qualifications or equivalent practical experience.
• F-Gas certification.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Good customer-facing and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• A professional approach with strong attention to detail.
• A willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
