The Role We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead a busy service department covering agricultural, construction and horticultural machinery.

The ideal candidate will come from a machinery dealership or manufacturer background. Plant machinery experience with a manufacturer would be ideal, alongside agricultural and/or construction knowledge.

This is not a plant-hire or Plant Fitter role. We are looking for someone with genuine dealership/manufacturer service experience, who understands the wider aftermarket environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience managing or supervising a service/workshop team
  • Background within agricultural, construction, horticultural or plant machinery
  • Dealership or manufacturer experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of agricultural or construction/plant machinery
  • Experience using manufacturer technical support systems
  • Knowledge of warranty systems/claims and manufacturer parts books
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to motivate technicians and deliver excellent customer service
