Used Vehicle Business Manager

Used Vehicle Business Manager Location: Southwater, West Sussex
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Performance Bonus
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm

Our client is seeking an experienced Used Vehicle Business Manager to take ownership of their used vehicle operation, managing everything from vehicle sourcing and appraisal through to sales, stock management and profitability.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven automotive professional to build and grow an established used vehicle business.

Key Responsibilities

• Source quality used minibuses, coaches and specialist passenger vehicles.
• Manage vehicle appraisals, pricing, preparation and sales.
• Maximise part exchange opportunities.
• Control stock levels, stock turn and vehicle profitability.
• Develop relationships with fleet operators, dealers, leasing companies and commercial customers.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts.
• Work closely with sales, workshop and aftersales teams.

About You You’ll have:

• Experience in used vehicle sales, purchasing or remarketing.
• Ideally a background in commercial vehicles, buses, coaches, vans or trucks.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle valuations, stock management and margin control.
• Excellent negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• CRM experience and a full UK driving licence.
